Vanila Netto is attracted to the strong symbolic charge in clothes that are worn out and un-sexy. In Contagious a skeleton is sketched from the worthless remains of packaging; using visually dark imagery, the artist explores the relationship between the human body and psyche, and the discarded, industry extruded object.

Scott Redford�s project, Blood disco, comprises seven large surf paintings. Redford commissioned some of Australia�s best surfboard-makers to create works manufactured in a similar way to surfboards. Dragging art history into popular culture, his �surf� paintings represent the visual and social culture of the Gold Coast and focus on the dissolve between high and low culture.

You Are Here is the first solo New York exhibition for Gary Carsley.
Gary has overlaid the gallery floor plan on top of a detail from a map of Central Park, so that, as one walks through the gallery, it's space "morphs" into the familiar landscape of the corresponding section of Central Park. The map serves as the intersection between inside and outside, mashing the two into a series of established codes of scales, colors, and lines used in cartography, acknowledged as guides for getting you from one place to the other.
